BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, AND REMEMBER THAT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Believe in Yourself, and Remember that Anything Is Possible Believe in what makes you feel good. Believe in what makes you happy. Believe in the dreams you've always wanted to come true, and give them every chance to. Life holds no promises as to what will come your way. You must search for your own ideals and work towards reaching them. Life makes no guarantees as to what you'll have. It just gives you time to make choices and to take chances and to discover whatever secrets might come your way. If you are willing to take the opportunities you are given and utilize the abilities you have, you will constantly fill your life with special moments and unforgettable times. No one knows the mysteries of life or its ultimate meaning, but for those who are willing to believe in their dreams and in themselves, life is a precious gift in which anything is possible.

Black Girls Rock!!!

This week I decided to honor the lovely "Beverly Bond" the founder of Black Girls Rock! Inc. If you missed the show, you missed a lot. Let me start by telling you a little bit about the foundation.

ABOUT BLACK GIRLS ROCK!:

BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Inc. is 501(c)3 non-profit youth empowerment and mentoring organization established to promote the arts for young women of color, as well as to encourage dialogue and analysis of the ways women of color are portrayed in the media.

Since 2006, BLACK GIRLS ROCK! has been dedicated to the healthy development of young women and girls. BLACK GIRLS ROCK! seeks to build the self-esteem and self-worth of young women of color by changing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves. For the past four years, we have enjoyed the opportunity to enrich the lives of girls aged 12 to 17 years old through mentorship, arts education, cultural exploration and public service. At BLACK GIRLS ROCK!, young women are offered access to enrichment programs and opportunities that place special emphasis on personal development through the arts and cooperative learning.

By speaking to the next generation in their formative years about issues of self-worth, goals, and aspirations, the organization reinforces the message that young women need not objectify themselves or relinquish their autonomy. BLACK GIRLS ROCK! has boldly taken on the crisis of our female youth of color here in America head on and understands the need for positive self-images and a strong sense of awareness. WE SEE SOLUTIONS.

As you can see this foundation is more than just an Award Show on BET.. Going forward they will need not only our love, but financial support. Yes I said financial support. Sometimes we are good at showing our support by watching or making comments, but we are horrible at actually giving our time and financial backing. It's time to be the change that we wish to see..

Take a walk with me my sisters and lend me your ears.
We were never promised a life without struggles or a life without tears.
Sometimes we will go through things that make life seem real dim
But it is at this time that you have to find peace within


Did you know that God Is truly within YOU?
And no one can hurt the God within YOU
But the Key to talking to him, is not just when your in need
Every morning that you wake up To HIM YOU SHOULD SPEAK
Show him a little Gratitude for the things that he has done
because without him none of your battles you would have won

By no means am I hear to preach to you
I just want to share with you a couple of things that GOT ME THROUGH

You Are Worthy!!!!

You are worthy of reaching for the greatest accomplishments…And you are worthy of achieving them, no matter what other people think of you, no matter what you have done up to this point in life. You are worthy of the best.

You are unique, you are special. You are creative and effective. You have much value to offer, regardless of what anyone has told you. And no one can express that value but you. You are the person who deserves to live your dream. You are the only one who has what it takes to reach that dream.

If you can see it, if you can imagine it, if you can dream it, you are worthy of reaching it. And it is possible. No one will hand it to you. In fact, you’ll strive day and night to reach it. When you give the best you have, when you refuse to be stopped by the obstacles in your way, when you do what must be done, you’ll get what you deserve—a full, rich life that is like no other. Each day, with your thoughts and actions, live up to the fact that you are the best.
